Mindful Mellow Free Beginner Yoga Class is Inspired by the fierce Amber Karnes and Dianne Bondy of Yoga For All, this class is TERRIFIC for Beginners, Seniors, people with balance challenges – and *almost* anyone who lives in a body! Mellow and mindful, our practice begins with a short meditation (about 3 minutes) and moves through 3 very deliberate, slow sun salutations, performed close to floor and with blocks. We also practice high lunge pose and tree pose at the wall, with numerous options to customize the poses for EVERY-body.
You may hear students discussing their experiences in the shapes – and I encourage you to consider what you are feeling as you practice. Are your experiences the same, or different?
YOU WILL NEED: 2 blocks, a blanket, a strap or belt, and a bolster or 3 -4 stacked up pillows.
