I’m offering this special audio yoga class, it’s not available anywhere else on my site or iTunes. Pay as you like, any amount – all proceeds will go to support Nepal Relief Efforts. Also, if you don’t wish to or can’t donate, just download the free session and do your practice as a prayer offering to those in need.
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal near the capital of Kathmandu on April 25th. I consider this region a special part of yoga’s heritage and benefit from the wisdom of Nepal’s teachers.
“If you’re thinking about making a donation to help Nepal in the wake of the devastating earthquake, now is the time to act.
Immediate aid is essential, says Center for Global Development fellow Vijaya Ramachandran, who has drawn her conclusions from looking at the earthquake in Haiti and other disasters. ‘The aid that comes in within the first weeks and even months is of a life-saving nature. That’s the period when the local capacity is almost zero. So outside help is really important.’ (npr.org)”
All donations for these audio classes will exclusively support relief and recovery efforts in Nepal through GlobalGiving.org (Read about Globalgiving.org’s charity rating here)This is a charity I heard about via a store selling fair trade goods from Nepal, and I feel confident in my contributions here.
When you click the “donate” button above you will be directed to Paypal to make a donation to Global Giving through Priceless Yoga Santosha. After you complete the donation you will be directed to download the audio class.
